A Garden for Lily From her Brothers

We are in the middle of finishing the backyard. So we have dirt everywhere!!! The kids were out playing the other day and asked me to come see Lily's Garden. In her play house there are two planter boxes that had flowers. Daxton and Gehrig took the flowers out and put them in the ground. They did a nice job. So very thoughtful.

Lily wanted nothing to do with the picture.
She wanted to find her own spot. Hense the picture below.
A little bit more comfortable.

Dress up

I love this picture. How great are those boys. And little Lily just hanging out in the back with her hands folded nicely.

Gammy and Papa every year are great enough to buy the kids some holiday church clothes. This year they have out done themselves. I loved there clothes this year. The boys looked so handsome. And Lily looked just like a doll. We could not get her hands out of her mouth though.

Christmas Day at The Tolman's

After we are done in the morning we go over to the Tolman's. Lily of course was wearing her whole girly outfit. She insisted on putting her pajamas over her clothes. Gammy and Papa bought some great games to play with the older kids.

Owen and Lily having there own fun. Lily bossing him around. Typical girl!

Christmas Morning

We had to come up with an idea how to keep the kids from coming out in the middle of the night or in the morning to see the gifts. So we taped wrapping paper in the entry of the hallway. So when they woke up, Daxton grabbed Lily and they got to run the paper, like at the football games. I was so mad that I did not get a picture. It was a scream. Daxton was holding Lily and ran at full speed. Her face was priceless. Gehrig was not to sure about it. But a very fun idea. We will do it every year now.

Gift Exchange

My parents bought all of the grand kids the Tommy 20. I am sure you have heard of it. So all 10 of the kids got them. Needless to say I had darts all over my house. The kids had a blast. But as for the 2 babies Lily and Caden they got different gifts. My parents were so cute with Lily's gift. My Mom went crazy getting her stuff. Lily loved all of it. She got all kinds of girly stuff. Which fits her perfect.

I have no idea where Gehrig is. He got lost in the craziness.

Should I be worried?

The traditional pajamas from Grandma and Grandpa.

Isn't she delightful!!

THE FIESTA BEGINS

We had some good food!!

And some mean basketball games going on. With the majority of the
grandkids being boys. All they did was play ball. I do not have a picture. But all the men, as in brother in laws, played 2 on 2 game. It was intense. All the men came in sweating and dying for breath. It was pretty hilarious. They are not as young as they think they are.

Present time

Feliz Navidad!!

This Christmas Eve was at our house with my side of the Family. When the party is at your house you choose what to eat and how the day goes. Ryan being the great man he is. Thought of the idea to have a Fiesta. Eat Mexican food, not the tradition food. Of course, when you have a
Mexican Fiesta you have to have a pinata. He made a special trip over to Food City to get the essentials. Lily loved the pinata. The boys named him Steve Nash. I should not expect anything else. That is every ones name.

Gingerbread Houses

Gehrig wanted his to look just like the box. We tired. not sure if we succeeded but he thinks we did and that is all that matters.

Daxton was so cute. He took so much time on his house to make it perfect. Unfortunately Gehrig used most of the frosting.

This is what Lily does all day. Wearing my shoes and eating. You couldn't tell because she is so skinny. She is always on the go.

Tolman Cousin Christmas Party

We get together every year with all the cousins from the Tolman side. We get a special visit from Santa everytime. This year I knew him very well:)

Lily was so funny. She saw him walk thru the door than she freaked out.

Gehrig's Chirstmas Program

They put on the cutest program. Sang songs and did the Nativity scene.

If you notice Gehrig is the only one with his antlers on backwards. Yes he planned it. That kid is a hoot.

Gehrig was so cute he asked if Daxton could miss school to see his program.

Miss Allison and Gehrig. A great teacher. He loves school. We get in a fight every Thursday night because he swears he has school on Friday but he does not. He say, "Mom! Yes we do call Miss Allison she told me we do."

Every Thursday.

The Best Investment EVER!!!

We had always planned for a basketball court in the backyard and we finally did it. We are fortunate enough to have fabulous Family and Friends that helped us. Especially my husband who pulled off the whole thing while I was on a Girls Weekend!! I could not have gone if I did not have my great parents and super star sister in law Sarah. Jaren you did a great job!!

Daxton had so much fun being out with all the boys helping.

Finally Done!!

Daxton when he is finished with dinner he goes straight out there to play. Before school he loves to play too. I have to make him wear gloves. I think he likes it. :)
