In all the years we go to Bear Lake I have always wanted to ride bikes thru the town. I finally got my way. It was not as much fun as I thought it would be. Hard work. It was a good thing we had extra help with the bike.

Our Friends the Owen's were up there with there family too, So we figured a boat day with the kids would be fun. And they sure did have fun!!

Papa and Lily

BOOM- BANG- FIREPOWER!!!
I need to point out the sick tank top my husband is wearing. That is all he wanted for his birthday. It was a dollar at the Dollar Tree. He is so easy to please. And frugal!!!

Is that not a great view!!

Every year we come up to Bear Lake we TRY to go fishing. So far for the last 3 years we have failed. Poor Papa. This year we went up past Monpelier to a spot the locals say is great. The boys were so excited. They sat with there polls and nothing. So Gammy and I decided to drive over to the resevor accross the street. By the time we got back still not luck. At that point there were bugs everywhere and Daxton's face was puffing up because of his allergies. So Daxton, Lily and I were in the car right next to the boys fishing. Gehrig had gotten a chair to sit on. It was one of the chairs that fold up into a bag so it was very flimpsie. He sat down in it and it started to fall but he caught himself. The next time he was not so lucky. He fell staright in the water. I wish you could see the water. It was so nasty, the thought of it gives me anxiety. Gehrig was such a trooper. He hung on for dear life. We had to take off all of his clothes and he put on Ryan's shirt. I wish I had a picture. We have so many great memories and that is one of my favorites. Thanks for trying Papa. We will get it one of these years. Oh, as we were leaving 2 more car loads of people came. And within 5 minutes of the people getting there, they caught a fish!! Funny!!

The boys driving the boat. They did great.
Half the time Gehrig was looking down not even watching where we were going.

Paris, Idaho Park
After the farmers market in Montpeiler we headed off to
Subway for a picnic lunch at the park.

Thank you Gammy and Papa for a great week. We enjoy so much coming up to the Lake House to be with you guys. You know my boys love it when they start asking "When are we going to Bear Lake?" in DECEMBER. We love you both.
